Michael Collins was an Irish revolutionary leader, Minister for Finance and Teachta Dala for Cork South in the First Dail of 1919. 

He was Director of Intelligence for the IRA, and member of the Irish delegation during the Anglo-Irish Treaty negotiations.

Born October 16th, 1890 in Clonakilty.

Full Name : Micheal Sean O Coileain.

Assasinated : August 22, 1922, Beal na Blath.

Buried : Glasnevin Cemetery, Dublin.

The Bronze Model of the Sliabh na mBan Armoured Rolls Royce Car which formed part of General Michael Collins convoy which was ambushed on 22nd of August,1922 at Beal na mBlath in West Cork.

Each Sliabh na mBan Bronze Model is made from cold cast bronze. 

Cold Cast Bronze can be described as bronze resin. The technique used for making items in cold cast bronze, involves blending bronze powder with epoxy designer resin to produce a material which is applied to the interior of a silicone mould.  

The mould is then filled with a blend of resin and bronze metal powder which are then left to set.  The finished item has the look, cold feel and sometimes (although not always) the weight of a solid bronze piece.Height : 4" (10cm).

Each Michael Collins Bronze Sliabh na mBan will be carefully packaged for posting.
