Born in 1890 near Clonakilty in West Cork. Collins was an Irish revolutionary leader, TD and founding father of Fianna Gael . Michael was President of the IRB, Director of Intelligence for the IRA and member of the Irish Delegation of the Anglo-Irish Treaty.

In 1922, during the Irish Civil War, Collins was shot by the Black and Tans in an ambush at Béal na mBláth in West Cork.

Each Michael Collins Bronze Figure is made from cold cast bronze.

Cold Cast Bronze can be described as bronze resin. The technique used for making items in cold cast bronze, involves blending bronze powder with epoxy designer resin to produce a material which is applied to the interior of a silicone mould.

The mould is then filled with a blend of resin and bronze metal powder which are then left to set.  The finished item has the look, cold feel and sometimes (although not always) the weight of a solid bronze piece.Height: 230mm (9").

The Michael Collins Bronze Figure will be packaged securely for shipping from Ireland.
